The Botín Foundation announces two scholarships abroad aimed at specialized training in order to obtain professional training in theory and techniques on the management of museums and exhibitions organization. The fate of the training must be geared to contemporary art (from the avant-garde to the present) and exceptionally referred to the possibility of requesting extra time in the chosen training centre, may be total or partial, as determined by the jury, and for a maximum period of nine months.
Requirements to qualify for scholarships
Diploma, degree, graduate or postgraduate students, in fine arts, art history, philosophy and aesthetics, literature, humanities, or art criticism. Or be a professional art which, not meeting the above requirements, can demonstrate training in the field.
Possess Spanish nationality, or demonstrate the residence from the five years preceding the application.
Have between 23 and 40 years.
Mastering the language of the country where the chosen Center is.
Having the acceptance in writing of the chosen training centre.
The time of enjoyment of this scholarship will be a school year in the chosen Center.
The total endowment of the scholarship includes 18,000 euros in travel, accommodation, maintenance, etc., that will add up to a maximum of 12,000 euros earmarked for the payment of tuition in the chosen training centre. Aid will be enjoyed from its concession, by the agreed period and without interruption. Your home is imperative before the end of 2014. Subsidies are direct, indivisible and non-transferable. Do not cover family benefits. The enjoyment of this aid is incompatible with any other institutional aid.
A jury for that purpose will evaluate different applications. The decision belongs to the Fundación Botín. The ruling is final. It will be deemed definitively awarded when the written acceptance of the applicant has had input in the Foundation. The scholarship will be paid 45% at the beginning of the enjoyment of the scholarship, 25% in the two following natural quarters; and 5% upon receipt of the final report.

Curriculum vitae, with indication of studies, professional activities, grants, etc. Must attach copy of the academic record, copies of titles, etc.
Posted in which you specify the reasons for the request for grant, the relationship of this formation with the former of the plaintiff and the reasons that led to the choice of the particular Center.
In the case of a request for extension must be accompanied by a satisfactory report from the Center. Information about the chosen training centre (fees, deadlines registration…).
The deadline for receipt of requests is Friday, May 9 de2014. The decision will be announced July 25, 2014.
